Glasgow Botanical Garden Pictures - Flowers,Rain forest,Vibrant ColoursDuring my stay at Glasgow I had a chance to shoot very beautiful flora & fauna. The garden situated in the heart of the city, was a green escape from the maddening city traffic and noise. The splendid collection of various plants, flowers, shoots, cacti from all over the world can easily keep a nature admirer hooked on for hours. Not to be missed is the live rain forest area in a temperature controlled zone.

Windermere lake - here we come.

Hi guys, hope you are doing good, I am back to blogging after a small gap, was pretty busy moving my home. Well let me not waste any more time and welcome you back to the journey in Lake district with me.  Continuing from my previous post - after we started from Aira Falls on a road trip to Lake Windermere, I was not quite sure what to expect. The roads were very narrow and it was raining heavily, so trusting my satellite navigation device I was blindly following the route and few minutes into the drive, the road started off on an elevation. It was all normal until I saw distant hills and a narrow road snaking in between them and I knew instantly that this drive is going to be fun. It was a beautiful experience driving through the hills in rain and mist and the mist just got thicker and thicker with elevation. ReWind - Harbour Bridge Walk

An artsy black and white capture of an evening walk on the harbour bridge. You can see the harbour bridge on the right and the city on the left amidst all the fast paced action. Actually quite an exhilirating walk from Milsons Point, I wonder why I did not do this before. Will surely be going again soon.. For this scene, I wanted to get the lowest shutter speed on the nicely lit sunny evening and to my dispair found that I did not even have the polarising filter threaded readily onto my wide angle lens. Some quick thinking and I dialled in the lowest ISO of 100, narrowed down the aperture to f/22 to give me a shutter speed of 1/5 of a second to capture this pre-visualised scene.
