Surreal Landscape - What a shot!

One of the biggest advantages of having Neutral Density (ND) and Gradual Neutral Density (GND) filters is to find all subjects moving.

First you want to spot moving objects and then capture them in the midst of the movement but not as in a freeze shot. The idea is to capture a slice of time rather than a micro second. To explain better, let's think how good it would be if you can capture light during the golden hours of sun rise or sunset on a beautiful beach long enough to make the water look silky smooth and white.
How about photographing star trails or car trails in an aesthetic shot with a beautiful architecture in the background. How about lifting an important architecture from the ordinary to Wow..that's amazing with a bit of cloud movement on a perfectly sunny day?

Well keep thinking and the possibilities are endless. The point is you can photograph what your naked eyes cannot see normally as our brain does not stack images for a period of time.

Cut to the chase this is what I am feeling these days and am out on the prowl as time and good weather permits to do some experimenting and bring some fabulous shots home.
I will be sharing some of the photos worth curating which will be shot using ND, GND and polarising filters (perhaps including a combination of all the three) to depict extraordinary from an ordinary or a mundane looking scene.

Let's get the ball rolling with this pic for today. What do you think of it? Do you like it or you do not? What else would you have liked to be there in this shot or do you think I could have bettered it in some way? Clear your hands of whatever you are holding and type in your thoughts :)
