Tuggerah Lake Sunset over Long Jetty

With Autumn in swing here in Australia, I could not help but think about the beautiful sunsets that we are presented during this time of the season. The memory sparked a photo shoot I did a couple of years ago which never saw the light of the day. So I got busy browsing through the captures of Long Jetty at Tuggerah Lake from 'The Entrance'. This image immediately caught my attention as I already am raring to capture some beautiful sunsets this autumn.

Hi guys, hope you are doing good, I am back to blogging after a small gap, was pretty busy moving my home. Well let me not waste any more time and welcome you back to the journey in Lake district with me.  Continuing from my previous post - after we started from Aira Falls on a road trip to Lake Windermere, I was not quite sure what to expect. The roads were very narrow and it was raining heavily, so trusting my satellite navigation device I was blindly following the route and few minutes into the drive, the road started off on an elevation. ReWind - Harbour Bridge Walk

An artsy black and white capture of an evening walk on the harbour bridge. You can see the harbour bridge on the right and the city on the left amidst all the fast paced action. Actually quite an exhilirating walk from Milsons Point, I wonder why I did not do this before. Will surely be going again soon.. For this scene, I wanted to get the lowest shutter speed on the nicely lit sunny evening and to my dispair found that I did not even have the polarising filter threaded readily onto my wide angle lens. Some quick thinking and I dialled in the lowest ISO of 100, narrowed down the aperture to f/22 to give me a shutter speed of 1/5 of a second to capture this pre-visualised scene.
